Does being a more experienced therapist actually make you a better therapist? Not necessarily.

Research suggests that therapists don’t reliably become more effective simply by gaining experience, and that traditional training and supervision don’t always translate into better outcomes. So if experience alone isn’t enough, how do we get better at what we do?

In this 30 minute Power Lunch, we’ll explore Deliberate Practice: a structured approach to improving therapeutic skills through focused practice, feedback, and repetition. We’ll look at what it is, what the research tells us so far, and how to target the specific skills you want to sharpen in your own clinical work.

Power Lunch Series:

Join us for a power-packed 30 - 40 min bite of expert insight,  a dash of discussion and a generous serving of your questions.
