Clinical Psychologist, CPT Trainer and Private Practice
Dr. Shnaider is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice with expertise in evidence-based treatments for anxiety and trauma-related disorders. He previously held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University and has worked as a psychologist at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and at St. Joseph’s Healthcare’s Operational Stress Injury Clinic.
He is co-author of Treating PTSD with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies: Interventions That Work and has made meaningful contributions to the scientific literature through peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. His work focuses on advancing individual, couple, and group cognitive-behavioural therapies. He is deeply committed to training clinicians in effective, evidence-based PTSD treatments.
